Mr. Demerin has been involved in the martial arts for over 12 years, growing up with a serious passion for the mind-body connection that is created the physical discipline and thought-provoking philosophies of the martial arts. Having earned his second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do throughout the 12 years of his training, 6 of those years were dedicated to teaching that form of martial arts to wide-range of students of different age groups. Now studying the disciplines of Wing Chun and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mr. Demerin continues his ongoing pursuit of self-improvement through the martial arts.
Along with the life-long relationship with the martial arts, Mr. Demerin is also has a passion for the visual arts. Graduating from the Ringling School of Art and Design where he majored in Computer Animation, fueling his passion for illustration and animation. Keeping with the trend of being immersed in the many aspects of arts, Mr. Demerin is also involved in a Sarasota local band by the name of Fancy Rat. With the ability to play instruments ranging from the piano, guitar, and violin, he is also an avid beatboxer (also known to him as vocal percussion), setting the stage for an interesting eclectic of musical possibilities.
Leading a life that is steeped in the grandeur of the arts, Mr. Demerin is dedicated in taking what knowledge he has gained and sharing it with those who enroll at Florida’s Best Martial Arts.
